A Bit About Me
I’m Group Captain Jai Vishal Bhushan Tugnait (R), a proud Indian Air Force veteran with 33 incredible years of service to our nation. As a Military Tactical Airlift Pilot, I logged over 2,700 hours in the skies, flying nine different aircraft and tackling missions that tested skill, precision, and courage. Alongside this, I had the privilege of mentoring and training cadets, pilots, and officers in various esteemed establishments—shaping the next generation of aviators.
My journey took me across India’s Western, Northern, and Northeastern borders, where I served in flying squadrons and missile units, often operating from forward bases. Over the years, I’ve worn many hats, from planning and executing military missions to overseeing VVIP Airlift Operations and directing Tactical Airlift Operations at Air Force Headquarters. My final posting as Director of the ECHS Regional Centre in Gandhinagar brought a new purpose—caring for the health and well-being of ex-servicemen and their families in Gujarat and Rajasthan.
But my story doesn’t end with the uniform. After retiring, I channeled my drive for innovation and entrepreneurship into founding Karman Eval Private Limited with my wife. From our base at Inspire Business Park in Adani Shantigram Township, we specialize in HRD, IT, aviation, and defence consultancy services—connecting ideas and people to create meaningful impact.
Beyond the boardroom, I share my love for aerospace as a visiting faculty member at NFSU, blending practical expertise with academic insight.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me immersed in hobbies that keep life exciting—whether it’s collecting stamps and coins, diving into adventure sports like sea diving and para jumping, or enjoying a match of tennis or badminton. I also love cycling, trekking, gardening, and occasionally experimenting in the kitchen.
Every chapter of my life, from soaring the skies to navigating new ventures, has been driven by a commitment to growth, connection, and service. I’m excited to see where the next adventure takes me!

One of the many things I am attached to, is my collection of different types of miniature aircraft models, right from vintage ones.
My Notes Collection
I have a collection of currency notes & coins dating back decades, most of which were declared non-usable after our government declared demonitization.
My Timeless Stamps Collection
I am from that generation where stamp collection was a big hobby for kids. In fact, packets with hundred stamps from different countries used to be available for sale to hobbyists.
